04 / Specialty Vehicles

RV and motorcycle detailing.

RVs, motorcycles, and boats need different products and processes than cars. We bring both. Per-vehicle quote.

Different vehicle, different process.

RVs and motorcycles need different products than cars. We use marine-grade ceramic on RV hulls and matte-safe products on bikes. Pricing is per-vehicle. Call or fill out the form for a same-day quote.

Why it matters

Why specialty vehicles need different care.

A car is mostly painted steel or aluminum with a clear coat on top. Specialty vehicles are not. RVs and boats are built from large fiberglass and gelcoat panels. Motorcycles mix chrome, raw or coated metal, plastic, leather, and sometimes delicate matte or candy paint. Each material reacts differently to the same wash, so using one car process across all of them is how finishes get dull, streaked, or scratched.

The shapes are different too. Big flat RV and boat panels show every swirl and water spot. Bikes are tight and crowded, full of small parts and finishes that a careless wash can mar in seconds. Get the wrong product on the wrong surface and you can lock in oxidation or burn a soft finish.

That is why we slow down and match the work to the vehicle. Right product, right tool, right amount of pressure, panel by panel. It takes longer than a standard car wash, and it protects what you own.

No two RVs are alike. No two bikes either. Tell us what you have and where it lives. We'll quote same-day.

Standing exception: an RV Exterior wash is a fixed $350 and can be booked online now. Full oxidation, roof, and interior work on RVs, boats, and bikes stays quote-based.

Big rigs

RV and motorhome detailing.

RVs and motorhomes are large, and most of that surface is fiberglass or gelcoat that bakes in the sun. Over time the sun pulls the shine out and leaves a chalky, faded look called oxidation, usually worst on the sides and the front cap. Bringing that finish back takes the right compounds and polishes worked across a lot of square footage, not a quick wipe-down.

The roof is its own job. RV roofs collect tree sap, mildew, and black streaks that run down the sides when it rains. They also have seams, vents, and seals that need to be cleaned carefully so nothing gets damaged. We work the roof and the streaks it causes as part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Because RVs are tall, long, and awkward to move, mobile service is a real advantage here. We come to your driveway, storage lot, or campground with our own water and power, so you do not have to haul a big rig anywhere or find a place that can even fit it. Every RV is a little different in size and condition, so we look at yours and give you a quote before any work starts.

Two wheels

Motorcycle detailing.

Motorcycles reward careful hands and punish rushed ones. The finishes are delicate and varied: deep gloss paint, chrome, brushed and anodized metal, leather, and matte or satin surfaces that can be ruined by the wrong polish or wax. We bring products matched to each of these and clean the bike by hand so nothing gets swirled or hazed.

We also respect where water and pressure should and should not go. A motorcycle has bearings, electrical connections, switches, and an exhaust that do not mix well with high-pressure spray. We keep pressure low and targeted, clean the tight spots by hand, and dry it properly so you are not left with water hiding in places it can cause trouble.

The payoff is chrome that actually shines, paint with real depth, and leather that looks cared for instead of dried out. Whether it is a touring bagger, a cruiser, a sport bike, or a dual-sport, we tailor the work to the bike. Tell us what you ride and we will quote it.

On the water

Boat and gelcoat detailing.

Boats live a hard life. Sun, lake or salt water, and constant moisture wear on the gelcoat faster than paint wears on a car. The result is fading, chalky oxidation, and a waterline stained by everything the boat sits in. Gelcoat is not car paint, so it needs marine products and a process built for it, not whatever is used on a sedan.

Bringing a tired hull back usually means cutting through the oxidation with the right compounds, then sealing and protecting the gelcoat so the shine lasts and the surface is easier to keep clean. Above the waterline there is the deck, seating, vinyl, and metal hardware, each of which has its own cleaning needs and its own enemies like mildew and salt or mineral buildup.

We can meet the boat at a Lake Norman marina, in your driveway, or on the trailer, and we bring our own water and power. Size, material, and condition vary a lot from one boat to the next, so boats are always quoted after we see what you have.

04 / FAQ

A few of the most common.

Do you do all RV sizes?

Class A, B, and C. Travel trailers and fifth wheels too. Larger units take longer and cost more. We quote each one before we start.

Do you detail my Harley?

Touring, cruiser, sport, dual-sport. We bring the right products for chrome, leather, and matte finishes. Boat-tail to bar end.

Will you come to a marina or storage lot?

Yes. Lake Norman marinas, RV storage lots, dealerships. We bring our own water and power. We just need a flat place to set up.

How long does it take to detail an RV or boat?

It depends on the size and condition, since a small trailer and a large motorhome are very different jobs. We give you a realistic time estimate along with your quote so you can plan around it.

Can you fix the chalky, faded look on my RV or boat?

Yes. That faded, chalky look is oxidation, and we use the right compounds and polishes to cut through it and bring the gelcoat or fiberglass back. We then seal it to help the shine last.

Is it safe to detail my matte or custom-painted motorcycle?

Yes. Matte, satin, and custom finishes need special care because regular polish and wax can permanently change how they look. We use products made for those finishes and clean them by hand.

Do I need to bring my boat to you, or do you come to it?

We come to you. We can work at a Lake Norman marina, your driveway, or on the trailer, and we bring our own water and power so you do not have to move it far.

How often should I have a specialty vehicle detailed?

It varies with how much sun and water exposure it gets and whether it is stored covered or outside. Many owners do a thorough detail seasonally, and we are happy to suggest a schedule for your specific vehicle when we quote it.

Can you protect the surface so it stays clean longer?

Yes. We can apply protection suited to the surface, such as marine-grade sealant or ceramic on a hull, so it sheds water and dirt better and is easier to maintain. Ask about it when you request your quote.
